A plane crashed at East London Airport on Wednesday morning, critically injuring five people, the provincial health department said.
Spokesperson Sizwe Kupelo said: "Eastern Cape health emergency services are rushing to East London airport where a small aircraft has crashed, critically injuring two adults, and three children have also sustained injuries in the crash."
