A bomb blast has hit a mosque in Yola, Adamawa State, emerging reports say.
The
explosion is said to have occurred today, October 23, 2015, during the
Jumaat service at the worship center located in the Jimeta area of the
city.
“As I speak to you, dismembered bodies of
several victims are being moved and the place have been cordoned off,” a
witness on the scene told Premium Times.
The attack comes less than twelve hours after a suicide bomber detonated a bomb in a Maiduguri mosque killing 28 people.
The blasts are believed to be the work of terrorist sect, Boko Haram.
